Yes! For all of the girls out there who have been ignoring gym for a while, it’s time for you to get back in shape because this season miles  of legs is what is on. With huge success in last year’s summer, shorts are back and are actually shorter this season, so now is the time to tone up those sexy tanned legs for that Nicole Scherzinger look you’ve dreamed of. This season it’s all about being bold and flaunting what you’ve got.  There’s a wide range available at DSquared 2, Dolce & Gabbana, Armand Basi and Mark Jacob for that miles of legs look.

This trend while not being appreciated by a lot is being followed by thousand of daring women with great enthusiasm in combination with over-the-knee-boots that makes their legs look amazing, following the miles of legs trend this summer.  This look can also be achieved by wearing a super short dress with nude heels underneath, which elongates the legs and gives an illusion of a slimmer silhouette. Mini dresses are the latest fad which reveals miles of legs.

Despite summers are on, over-the-knee-boots are very on-trend exposing the thighs and wearing shorts that are the size of an underwear. Over-the-knee boots and these shorts actually complement each other giving a very glamorous look. This look has recently been seen on Rihanna during her live performance at the Atlantis in Paradise Island.  In fact Rihanna is not the only celebrity trying out this look, Hillary Duff, Kate Moss, Madonna and Daisy Lowe all seem to be fans of over-the-knee-boots also famous as “thigh-glazers” in the Hollywood. All the glitz and glamour is back as the Milan Fashion Week returned this year to the Italian ramp for spring, 2009. Revealing the Roman view of fashion, it had everything from sophistication to style. Rebellious yet classy, the designers focused on outrageous sexiness as well as lavishly structured clothing line.

Let us put some insight to some of the key fashions trends brought in by the Milan Fashion Week: All that glitters…is certainly gold! Being the old symbol for luxury, a lot of gold as sequined mini dresses and glittery textured tops appeared in many collections on the Milan ramp. Hot outlooks came through outrageous shoulder cuts and balloon sleeves in blooming reds, terrific blacks and pure whites.

Oversized jewels, stones and studs, not only in gowns and clutches, in coats, trousers and glittery flares and fringes appeared in big brands like Ferretti, Burberry and Dolce & Gabbana. Gingham obtained checks, stripes, and plaids and other masculine prints provided a pleasant outlook to the delicate short dresses by Burberry and MaxMara. One-shoulder evening dresses and gowns stay as the top trends this year as well. One sleeve look with jumpsuits and mini dresses came new to those one shoulder concepts providing an awkward yet innovative approach to the old trend.
